Next Sunday, September 20, we will launch our
Stewardship Appeal for 2026.

The introductory letter from Council President Terry Neal follows.

September 14, 2026

Enclosed with this letter is your 2027 commitment card. Please prayerfully consider your pledge for the year ahead, and return it by Commitment Sunday, October 18 - in worship or by mail to the church office.

This fall, our stewardship theme is "Moving Forward... Pressing On." Grace has been a congregation since 1909, and this summer we celebrated our building's 70th anniversary. But we are not coasting: we are strengthening the ministries already underway, revitalizing our life together through Adventures in Renewal, and building new partnerships with our neighbors in the wider community. None of that happens without you - your time, energy, prayer, and generosity. We offer our best in gratitude for the gift of life in Jesus Christ, and in trust that God is at work among us!

Our budget isn't complicated, but weekly giving has not quite kept pace with it in recent months, and property and liability insurance costs have gone up, too, the way costs go up for all of us. That means the cost of ministry here will rise for the coming year. If it is possible for your household, I am asking you to prayerfully consider raising your giving above last year's level.

Every pledge helps set our 2027 ministry spending plan. If you can't be in worship on Commitment Sunday, please mail in your card. In coming weeks, you will hear stories from your fellow members about how they have put their own gifts of time, talent, and treasure to work here at Grace, and more about the ministries that your giving supports.

Thank you for the ways you already share your gifts with Grace. Please pray for Pastor Olga-Maria and your Council as we lead this ministry into the year ahead.

Yours in Christ,
Terry Neal
Council President
