Centering Prayer Retreat

Rickey and Anna Cotton are leading a prayer retreat July 24-26 at Holy Name Monastery in St Leo, Florida.  

The retreat will feature contemplative prayer periods together, individual silent time, contemplative teaching, and rich spiritual fellowship.

While the limited reservations for this retreat are already taken, Rickey and Anna are considering one more retreat this year -- late fall or maybe Advent.  If you would be interested please let Rickey know at church or contact Anna at acpoet@aol.com or cell 863-797-6834.

Rickey Cotton, Ed.D., is a spiritual director and commissioned presenter of Centering Prayer and Lectio Divina. For many years he served as a member of the faculty for Contemplative Outreach’s Living Flame program. He has presented contemplative workshops around the country. These include John of the Cross: Beyond the Dark Nights, Contemplation: Living in the Spirit, Living with the Spirit, The Desert Ammas and Abbas, and Meister Eckhart: Passionate for our Awakening,.

Anna Cotton is both a contemplative and a poet. She has co-facilitated Centering Prayer groups for many years, served on the leadership team of Contemplative Outreach of Tampa Bay, ministered as a Soulfriend, and assisted with multiple retreats and workshops dealing with different aspects of contemplative spirituality. Her poetry has been published in such literary magazines as Miramar and Earth’s Daughter.
